Noshi Gulati’s presentation is “Airport Security Stole My Scissors”.

Go with her on a humorous quilting journey through life to India and back. 1996 was a turning point in Noshi’s life when she saw her first quilt and could not believe you could manipulate fabric to make such intricate designs. It was love at first sight and she was hooked. The journey she continues to this day.

Noshi enjoys the challenge of original designs. She likes to incorporate traditional design elements and bright colours. Her favourite part of quilting is hand applique and hand quilting. She compares hand quilting to meditation. There will be the flair of her cultural heritage shown in her work.
