May 2023 Meeting

Venue: Hybrid meeting both in-person at the Vittoria Community Centre and using the Zoom app

Louise Hamilton will be presenting a Trunk Show “My Life in Full Colour”. Louise, whose business is Purple Rooster Quilting, is delighted to share her passion with people who are unfamiliar with quilting as well as like-minded “quilty” people.

The quilts tell the twenty plus year story of Louise’s quilting journey. Louise currently works from home at her main joy and passion which is her long arm quilting business. She loves to bring beautiful quilt tops to another level of beauty. Louise primarily does edge to edge quilting but does a bit of custom work in very special cases.

Louise works closely with the quilt shop, Cherished Pieces, in Tillsonburg for which she long arms. On occasion, she also teaches workshops.

Trunk shows are lots of fun to do because they tell her life journey in full colour!  She believes sharing is what we are on the earth for.
