Pix Martin’s presentation is “Something Old, Something New”.

Pix’s quilting journey is always a source of inspiration for her, when she is looking at fabrics, when she is creating or in a room of ladies creating. Pix’s love for piecing and machine quilting has not wavered and it is now accented with her love of upcycling. Using her stash, her kids’ jeans and old quilts has moved her back into clothing, wearable art. Pix is combining her quilting techniques with garment sewing. She is presently the house manager for Anita Retreat, and she designs and sews for Deja Vu Textiles. Pix looks forward to sharing her journey with our guild.
