Kathleen Heslin
Kathleen has been quilting for about 12 years, making about 50 quilts during that time. For the most part she designs her quilts & hand dyes upcycled fabrics. She began with hand quilting, moved to stationary machine & most recently moveable machine quilting. She has won awards for her quilts in the United States and in Canada. She has retired to Port Dover with her husband where she also enjoys line dancing & pottery.
Linda McLaren
Linda McLaren is a wife, mom, quilter, biker, tekkie, farmer, rebel … not necessarily in that order! Linda started quilting when her littles were little. With roots in traditional quilting, she has ventured into the world of modern quilts and quilting for others. Her first longarm was acquired in 2008 to make basting quilts easier, and she started longarm quilting for others in 2017. Her definition of a good day is one where she learns something new. An excellent day is when she can collaborate, learn, and teach with other creatives. Currently President of the London Modern Quilt Guild, she appreciates all the inspiration and fellowship that can come from quilting guilds and the quilting community.
